Jimmy Bolus (DJ - Electro, Techno)

A founding member of the Ravetap/Robot Music triumvirate (responsible for many a Hackney warehouse rave between 2001-2003) - Jimmy is currently pushing the recently emerged dubstep/tech-step sound - a fusion of garage beats, electro bleeps and gut-wrenching basslines - while still enjoying playing out styles that range from robotic electronica to hard techno.

History

Jimmy Bolus started his DJing career in 1997 playing UK Acid Techno and "proper moody" drum & bass at house parties around the country, most notably Nottingham, Southampton and Northampton under the moniker Dr. Bolus. Frustrated by the lack of progression in these genres, Jimmy moved into Electro, Techno and Breaks.
