His Philosophy " I always try play the way I’d like other DJ’s to spin for me – fresh and funky. I don’t want to sound like any other DJ, I feel the best way to spin for B-Boys is with breaks that I’ve found with a few rap tracks thrown in when I feel like it rather copying what other DJ’s have played. That way when you walk into a club, a jam, a battle or you see a video from an event you know it’s me that’s spinnin and not some other DJ. This way I believe that the records that I’ve been playing or that I’ve put on mix-tapes start to become regarded as ‘classics’ & are my signature to those that hear me play regularly. I always follow my heart when I DJ so if I feel a record’s played out I ain’t playin it! "
Once you’ve witnessed ‘The Timber Show’ you may never be the same again!! Many people have been left asking themselves “Was that the DJ that was just spinning on his head before running back and cutting the next record in with unbelievable precision?”. Yes, that’s right, Timber is a DJ & a B-Boy (Breakdancer) with more passion than sense. Timber’s reputation for finding up-tempo funk breaks that drive B-Boys crazy and keep other DJ’s guessing is fast spreading across Europe. Spinning everything from Funk, Polish Jazz, Hungarian Rock, Library, Soundtrack, Afro Disco, German Funk, British Funk, Jazz Rock, Soul, P-Funk, Disco, Boogie & of course Rap, this is one DJ that will constantly keep the dance floor rocking. Timber DJ’s for B-Boys in the belief that fresh music provides fresh inspiration and has developed a unique unmistakable sound to those that hear him play regularly. As a DJ, Timber is able to adapt to entertain a wide variety of audiences from B-Boys to Poppers to Lockers to P-Funkateers to straight Hip Hoppers to people who just love good music! Please note that Timber will not however play ‘cheese’ or ‘chart’ music.
