History
"...how can you not like a track called You're Ugly?, that begins: 'You there, with the rugby neck!'...Popbitch Satire, the next big thing. Possibly." (Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 1) Dirty, dirty electro pop with overtones of broken beats, 70's glamrock and late eighties public-awareness video hiphop - all wrapped up with a solid disdain for all that is fashionable and trendy in the world of young bohemian yuppies, overgroomed city slickers and new media celebrity assholes. Feared by A&R executives who are sure its a Channel 4 "Faking it" setup ready to expose and humiliate their fading grip on the music scene as they all desperately scrabble to sign yet-another-rock-revival band, snapmouth is all about one thing: getting drunk and dancing to funked up hardass beats and unstoppably catchy riffs with a big side serving of tongue-in-cheekness. let the party begin.
